Personality: The first thing to know about Randall is that he is facetious or at least appears to be. Every other word out of his mouth seems to be a joke or a funny name or just some way to turn the situation into a farce. This tendency isn't only in his words. When faced with the decision about whether or not to kill someone, he and his friends played beer pong for that person's life.

While most of the time, he's the life of the party, this nature has also led to him being discounted by his friends, even when they should know better. The reality is that while he can be a bit hyper, can also be responsible, studious, and driven. The first time he appears it's not as a Knight but as an RA for the dorm. Moreover, he's on the verge of finishing a pre-med degree from the college while others in the Knights are still struggling to figure out what they want to do.

Part of the perception of being facetious comes from his naturally being a class clown. Part of it comes from the insensitive way that he (and his fellow Knights, at first) treat the lives of the members of the Order. Murdering an Order member, or even a victim of an Order member being manipulated by magic, isn't seen as wrong but as their duty. A duty they have performed enough that they have a post-murder ritual called an aprés-kill drink.

After they end up being forced to join the Order, his fellow Knights start to see some of the good sides of what can be done with magic. Randall, however, remains inflexible and it is one of the few subjects that he seems to take seriously as his friends start to lean more towards seeing the Order as something good, or at least something that can be redeemed. Both have good points, but neither wants to hear the other. He is also somewhat hypocritical in his opinions because he uses magic to open a portal to a dimension that they reference as Hell.

This stubborn attitude also reveals another side to Randall, one he generally takes pains to hide. He has a temper that he usually has a strict control over. The first reveal of this temper is after a scientist has kidnapped him and performed experiments on him to enhance his aggression. The revealing detail is not that he loses his control, but in how long it takes before he does. This speaks to an anger that is already being contained with rigid control. Instead, his impulse control is let loose in other, more acceptable venues. Drinking, killing people who do bad magic, wisecracks at inopportune moments.

Powers and Abilities: Werewolf Transformation: The Hide can turn their champion into a werewolf. Because of the length of time wearing the Hide, Randall can transform at will. In addition, he can also perform a partial transformation, revealing claws, sharp teeth, or dark veins along the neck.

Magic Detection: The Hide can detect when someone uses dark magic, alerting the Werewolf and sometimes triggering a transformation. In this case, dark magic means either the direct harming of a person by magical means or the use of an external (not self) sacrifice in the form of life, blood, or other more minor harms in order to power a spell.

Lycanthropic Enhancement: The Hide also develops a werewolf's physical capabilities, such as their strength, senses, and resilience while in their human form. However, it seems that some of these attributes are only present during states of heightened emotion.

Enhanced Strength: Usually during a state of heightened emotion, werewolves in their human form possess significantly enhanced physical strength. They can perform physical feats such as sending people flying through the air, knocking doors off of their hinges or effortlessly bending a steering wheel.

Enhanced Senses: Over time, a werewolf's senses of sight, smell and hearing will become significantly more acute, being comparable to certain animals. Their sense of smell is so acute that they can detect someone approaching by scent before they see or hear them.

Enhanced Resilience: Werewolves, both in their human form and transformed state, are more resilient to physical trauma, as well as certain magical effects. They are far more resilient to the effects of magic than humans.

Accelerated Healing: Werewolves can heal and recover from injuries at a faster rate than normal human beings; this has allowed them to recover from withdrawal more quickly and regenerate injuries such as being stabbed in the eye almost instantly. This does not make him immune to being killed.

Magic: Since joining the Hermetic Order of the Blue Rose, Randall has (grudgingly) learned some magic.

Inventory: Hide locker - because death separates the hide from the champion, this will allow Greybeard to appear in the locker if Randall dies in the game, to be reunited with him when he wakes up and finds the locker again.

Grimoire - a grimoire of spells that the Order has taught him.

The Order costume, used during certain rituals.
